San Diego, CAIt was about 3:15pm when a southbound SUV driven by a 20-year-old woman left roadway on Meadowbrook Drive and drove up onto the sidewalk, where she struck a two boys, ages 12 and 14. Both boys were seriously injured in the accident, and one of them sustained a skull fracture. Check back for updates and further details on this accident.

Portland, ORKunsman, of San Diego, was wearing a helmet when he was hit Friday evening. He later died from his injuries in a Portland hospital, according to state police. The pickup truck driver, Frank Bohannon, 74, of Oceanside, cooperated with the investigation and was not hurt in the crash. He was cited for careless driving.
