Jacksonville, FLA 3-year-old died in a crash in Putnam County on Sunday morning.
It happened on U.S. 17 at Clifton Road near Crescent City around 9 a.m.
Troopers said Gerard Buchan, 74, was driving a 1999 Ford Explorer westbound on Clifton Rd. when he stopped at a stop sign. When he started moving again, he didn't yield to a Dodge Caravan, according to the Florida Highway Patrol report. The vehicles crashed in the intersection.
Ashley Thomas, 29, was driving the Caravan and sustained serious injuries.

Atlanta, GAPolice say a pregnant woman and her unborn child have died after a horrific accident in Duluth on Saturday night.
Gwinnett County Police say the accident happened around 9 p.m. Saturday near Pleasant Hill Road and Venture Drive.
Katerin Metina, 19, was transported to an area hospital where she and her unborn child later died.
Police say several other were injured in the accident, but their injuries were not released.
Police say the driver of the car faces charges for Vehicular Homicide 2nd Degree, Feticide by Vehicle, and Failure to Yield while a Turning Left.

Chicago, ILA Wheaton man was charged with driving under the influence of drugs after he struck and killed an elderly woman Thursday morning in the Clearing neighborhood on the Southwest Side.
James Rudzinski, 61, is charged with felony aggravated DUI causing a fatal accident in connection with the crash in the 6300 block of North Narragansett Avenue, police News Affairs said in a release.

Sunday, December 8, 2013A fatal pedestrian accident Sunday night along Haverhill Road has led to one arrest, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office. Investigators said that 47-year-old Robin Veras was crossing Haverhill Road near Haverhill Court and did not yield to a Toyota 4Runner heading southbound. Veras was struck and killed by the vehicle driven by Orlirio Valenzuela, according to PBSO. Deputies said that Valenzula did not contribute to the fatal wreck, however his blood alcohol level was above the legal limit. Valenzula was arrested by PBSO on DUI charges.
