Houston, TXA suspected drunken driver was arrested after a 45-year-old man died in a traffic crash early Thursday morning in northeast Houston.
The two-vehicle wreck happened about 2 a.m. in the 600 block of Maxey at Wood Bayou, according to the Houston Police Department.
Police said the killed driver was in a green Nissan Altima southbound on Maxey when he collided with a northbound, white Ford F-150 pickup.
The pickup driver, police added, was turning left onto Wood Bayou but failed to yield the right-of-way to the Nissan.

Central TexasDPS is investigating an accident that left three people dead Saturday morning. DPS received a call around 9:13 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of northbound U.S. 183 and FM 1185. Authorities say a FedEx truck failed to yield right of way and slammed into a SUV. This caused the SUV to roll over several times.
