Norwich police say nine children suffered minor injuries when a Jeep driven by an off-duty city police officer crashed with a school bus. Police say the Jeep driven by Daniel Collins of Colchester crossed the double-yellow line on Asylum Street Thursday morning and sideswiped the bus, which had 25 students aboard. The nine injured students were taken to a local hospital, where they were treated and released. Police say they are investigating and claim sun glare may have been a contributing factor in the accident. The bus was heading north, the Jeep was southbound.
