Parents in a South Jordan neighborhood are heart broken and outraged after an 8-year-old girl was struck and critically injured by a passing school bus. The 8-year-old girl was hurt by the Jordan district bus while she was crossing the street after getting off her bus. The girl did not see the second bus approaching behind her, and stepped into the bus's path unaware. Parents say they have asked that this bus stop be moved off 40th west and into the neighborhood, but because the neighborhoods have private HOA's the district refused.
