Topeka, KSThe fatal crash occurred at 6:15 a.m. Sunday at 7000 Laurel Canyon Road, when a 2015 Chevrolet Malibu was southbound on Laurel Canyon Road when it drove off the end of the roadway at a dead end. The car then rolled and came to rest on its top. The car’s driver, Ronald E. Stump Jr., 35, of Bellville, was pronounced deceased at the crash site. Both passengers, Wesley A. Peters, 33, of Belleville, and Kayleen J. Notter, 26, of Belllview, were transported to Geary Community Hospital in Junction City.

Sunday, September 14, 2014Two people were killed Sunday night in a two-vehicle crash in Ellsworth County. Two passengers in the Durango died in the crash. William A. Rabas, 64, and Delores L. Rabas, 56, both of Russell, were pronounced dead at the scene. Neither was wearing a seat belt.
