22-year-old Dakota Stewart was driving a southbound car with five other passengers on U.S. 77 shortly after 9:00 a.m. when he veered into the oncoming traffic lane for unknown reasons and collided with a van driven by Gerald Letkiewicz, 61. Letkiewicz and a 17-year-old boy in Stewart's car were both pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, and everyone else involved was hospitalized with critical injuries. Those people include Stewart and his passengers, 25-year-old Brittany Carmon, two boys, ages 5 and 8, and a young girl, age 4.

Markarita Immy, 44, was pronounced deceased at the site of a collision that occurred about 8:35 p.m. on State Highway 266. Immy was driving with two passengers in an SUV. One passenger was transported to a Tulsa hospital and the other was uninjured. The crash occurred when Immy’s SUV collided with a pickup driven by Toby Willis, 38, of Claremore. Willis and passenger Robyn Willis, 37, also of Claremore, were uninjured. One occupant in the pickup suffered an arm injury. Robert Heidlage, 54, of Tulsa, the driver of another SUV hit by Immy’s vehicle, was treated at a Tulsa hospital and released.

It was about 7:15 p.m. when a 14-year-old boy was driving an ATV through a pasture in Caddo County and crashed into a cow. As he was not wearing a helmet or a seat belt, his vehicle flipped and he sustained a severe head injury. Responders pronounced him dead at the scene.
