Philadelphia, PACharles Eaches, 80, of Slatington, was killed Friday in a two-vehicle collision in Lehigh County, after he failed to stop at an intersection just after 3 p.m. at Best Station and Spur roads in Washington Township. Eaches, was not wearing a seatbelt as he drove south on Spur Road, and failed to stop for the stop sign at the intersection with Best Station Road.

Philadelphia, PAOne woman was killed and two other people were seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash that happened around 1:15 a.m. Sunday along Pulaski Highway near Brookmont Drive, south of Newark. The driver of a 2007 Nissan Pathfinder was speeding and failed to stop for a red light, and struck a 2013 Nissan Altima. The passenger of the Nissan Altima, 22-year-old Alexis DeFrancesco, was transported to Christiana Hospital Trauma Center, where she was pronounced deceased.

Philadelphia, PAA 49-year-old man from Newark, Delaware is dead after a head-on crash Saturday evening. David A. Christian died in the wreck at 7:26 p.m. on Sunset Lake Road south of Dayett Mill Road in Newark. Police say that, for an unknown reason, Christian's pickup truck crossed over the double yellow line and into the path of another pickup truck. Police say Christian was not properly restrained and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the other pickup truck, 52-year -old Jeffrey Grayson of Newark, was properly restrained, police said.
