Montgomery County police confirmed that the two deaths that took place within minutes of each other in Potomac on September 30th are related. According to authorities, Andrew Racca and C. Richard Mattingly, the victim's husband and Racca's employer, had an argument at the office over Racca's job responsibilities the day before. Police suspect Racca left the workplace and went to the Mattinglys' home, killed Carolyn Mattingly, and then apparently shot himself after driving away. There are no details on how Racca killed Carolyn Mattingly.
