At the time of the accident, Wyoming was suffering from a massive snowstorm that left most of the state covered in at least a foot of snow. Scott Burgess was driving south on Highway 259 in low visibility when he lost control of his car and span into oncoming traffic. Dustin Jutting, who was driving in the opposite direction, attempted to avoid Burgess's car but the two vehicles crashed head-on.

Three people died a single-vehicle accident in northern Wyoming. Those killed are 42-year-old Willie L. Reeder, of Florida; 60-year-old Randy D. Roddy, of California; and a 28-year-old man from Texas whose name has not yet been released. The men died when the SUV they were in crashed and rolled north of Gillette near the Wyoming-Montana border Tuesday night. Check back for more information as it becomes available.
