Huntsville-Decatur, ALJuwan Toney was driving the wrong way on Maysville Road when the wreck occured. Police say he was not wearing a seat belt, and he sustained fatal injuries in the crash. Three others were injured and taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Tulsa, OKJust before 8 a.m. Monday on State Highway 9 approximately one mile east of Whitefield in Haskell County, a 16 year-old boy from Stigler was driving a 1999 GMC pickup east when he crossed into the westbound lane and struck a semi on its side. According to Oklahoma Highway patrol, both the pickup and the semi left the highway and came to rest in a ditch. The 16-year-old driver was ejected from the pickup and killed, while his 12 year-old passenger was injured and airlifted to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, where he was last listed in stable condition with a head inury.

Kansas City, MOGerald L. Wolken of Greeley, Kansas was driving a Ford F-250 pickup truck west on K-68 at around 12:20 a.m. at the same time a semi was headed east on K-68, when for unknown reasons Wolken’s truck crossed the center line and struck the semi head on. Wolken was not wearing his seat belt and was killed. The semi driver was brought to Overland Park Regional to treat his injuries, the extent of which are unknown.
