Marion Co. teenager killed in single-car wreck

Johnna Marlane Gibbs,18 of Brilliant, was killed on Dec. 17 at 9:15 p.m. when the 2013 Hyundai Sonata she was riding in struck a tree and overturned after it left the road on Alabama 129 at mile marker 29. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The juvenile driver was transported to Winfield’s Northwest Medical Center. The wreck is still under investigation.
