The accident involved two vehicles. Officers discovered two deceased passengers in one vehicle and three passengers in another vehicle suffering from critical injuries.

Their conditions are unknown at this time. The Clayton County Special Traffic Accident Reconstruction (STAR) Unit was called in to take over the investigation and names have not yet been released.

The identities of the deceased are 49 year-old Bennie Fuller of Grantville and 16 year-old Morgan Cleaves of Jonesboro.
The three surviving passengers were transported to local area hospitals for treatment. Their conditions are unknown at this time.

Homicide and reckless driving charges have been filed against 22 year-old Jermil Martavious, who was driving more than twice the posted speed on Tara Boulevard at the intersection of Mundy's Mill Road when the crash occurred.
