Suspect sought in Texas accident that kills 2 bicyclists

The driver is described as having light skin and being between 5 foot 10 inches (1.7 meters) and 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall. He was seen wearing military fatigues, long dark pants and a tan or green backpack.

Authorities believe the suspect might have a black German Shepherd with him.

Suspect in custody in fatal hit-and-run of two bicyclists

DPS tells KHOU 11 Tome has been charged with two counts of murder, three counts of failure to stop and render aid and one count of burglary.

Brookshire Texas hit and run ABC's News article got it wrong. Completely inaccurate statement saying self proclaimed military veteran. FACT: he was a paratrooper in the military. I remember he was on tour back in 2012. He suffers from PTSD; something might have caused a flashback which caused him to confused the bikers with "the enemy" thinking they were trying to take him out so he did what he thought was necessary to survive. That doesn't qualify as a HATE CRIME.
