A 67-year-old Port Richey man died Friday from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash in Pasco County.

A 67-year-old Port Richey man died Friday from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash in Pasco County.

Robert T. Sigmon was pronounced dead at the scene just before 5 p.m.

According to a Florida Highway Patrol report the incident occurred near the intersection of Laredo Dr. and State Road 52 in the Bayonet Point community. Jessica Ann Davis was traveling south in her 2004 Dodge Intrepid on Laredo when she proceed into the intersection turning right on SR 52.

Davis, 36, veered directly into the path of Sigmon’s 1989 Harley Davidson motorcycle, which was traveling west in the inside lane of SR 52. The bike collided with the passenger side of the car and Sigmon was ejected onto the roadway.

The report states that Sigmon was not wearing a helmet at the time.

Davis was not injured and so far no charges have been filed as the investigation continues.

I was a witness to the accident. First I am very sorry for your loss. She was not on a phone and to be honest I didn't see Mr Sigmond either until he hit the car. Seems that maybe he was in my blind spot while coming up sr 52. It's sad that people are making things up, the girl was crying and very upset ... I don't think her going to jail over an accident is fair. This was something that could have happened to anyone. I hope your heart heals and after hearing what kind of man he was I'm sure he wouldn't wish anything bad on the girl.

She was not texting where in any reports does it say that get the facts straight before you open your dumb &*! mouths.

WHY is there no charges agains davis for texting and driving? careless endangerment? murder? i'm sure there are dozens of charges she can be put to trial and made to suffer for her selfishness and stupidity. TEXTING she Killed my friend of over 35 years... why don't articles mention she was texting? expose her for her crime and charge her!!!! Nothing they can do to her can ever bring back my friend, but she should be made an example of in hopes others may realize their stupid phone call or text is not worth KILLING a FRIEND, Brother, Sister, Child, Grandparent ext... who is entitled so a SAFE ride in THEIR own cars or walking on the road, sidewalk or RIDING their Motorcycles or Bicycles!!! RIP Cisco Sigmon
