Columbia High School mourns death of two students
According to DPS, the three men were in a SUV traveling westbound on FM 1301 a mile west of the town, when the driver crossed the center lane hitting a pickup truck head on.
Three people have died and another is in critical condition after a head-on collision in West Columbia around 5:15 a.m. Monday at the intersection of F.M. 1301 and C.R. 376. A Ford Expedition traveling westbound crossed the center line and hit a
Chevrolet Silverado in the opposite lane. Marco Zaragoza, 16, and Sergio Hernandez, 21, died at the scene. Miguel Zaragoza, 17, died en route to the hospital.
