Family mourns loss of mother, children killed in car crash

"She had five step children and one of her own," says Seales' little sister, Shaniquia Gilbert. "They were coming from seeing my dad and she just lost control of the car."

Mother, 2 children killed in Leake County

Authorities say the vehicle was traveling northbound on Highway 500 when it entered a curve and left the road, overturned and hit a tree. 
Samantha Seales, 24, and two of her step children died in a single-vehicle crash in Leake County Sunday night. Four other children are hospitalized at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Seales was driving with all six of her children when her SUV didn't complete a sharp curve on Highway 500. All of the other children that were in the vehicle, ages 3 to 9, are at UMMC.
