Traffic Alert: SB I-35 closed near Davis due to deadly crash

The accident was reported on southbound I-35, just south of milemarker 55. The highway has been blocked off, and traffic will be routed off at milemarker 55 and back on at milemarker 47.

OHP says 71-year-old Thomas Cain was killed when his van ran into the back of a semi, which was stopped in traffic.

Thomas was a long time friend. With a huge heart. He will be greatly missed. May he Rest In Peace and ride that iron horse next to our Creator. Blessed be.

 Long time Brothers in the wind, Patrick and Tommy shared bumps and smooth road together for about 40 + years.  He was the one who introduced us 30 years ago for which I will be eternally greatful.  Tommy meant as much as a blood brother and will be very sorely missed.

I'm sorry for your loss.
Is this the Tommy that worked at TAFB as an electrician when I drove a bus at night, there? The same Tommy whose friend was Patrick who painted awesome bikes? OMG, I hope not, but the age is right. Tommy was my long ago, very close friend, too. R.I.P. Tommy. You gave me so many good memories. You will be missed.
