Early Friday morning, a Norfolk Southern train struck an 18-wheeler truck carrying vehicles at the railroad crossing on Covington Highway at Turner Hill Road in DeKalb County, Georgia.

A man was riding his motorcycle west on Covington Hoghway when an SUV turned in front of him and struck him. The motorcycle rider was ejected from his bike, and died at the scene. His identity has not yet been released. No one else was injured.
