A 17-year-old girl from Concord died in a multi-car collision on Interstate 80 early Sunday morning around 12:30 a.m. in Vacaville.
A semi that was ahead of several passenger vehicles on I-80 in Tooele attempted to slow down after seeing inclement conditions due to high winds in the area. Due to the low visibility, several of the vehicles behind the slowing semi crashed into it near mile marker 68.
Kelius Guzman was driving on Interstate 80 with passenger Jacob Grady when he swerved to avoid an animal in the road. The vehicle left the roadway and crashed into the median, then traveled down an embankment.
A road rage incident was filmed as two women say someone acting as a sheriff’s deputy tried to run them off of Interstate 80. Passenger Delanie Strykul says she and her friend Vanessa feel they were targeted by a female driving a silver truck.
