A tractor-trailer crossed the median and crashed into two minivans in the opposite lanes of Interstate 80 on Saturday afternoon. 44-year-old James Ednie and one of his passengers, 41-year-old Tanya Gooden, both of Cheyenne, were in the second minivan that was hit and were killed in the crash.
24-year-old Jesus Oseguera of Sacramento told police he fell asleep at the wheel while driving a rent-a-truck carrying FedEx packages Tuesday morning. The incident occured on Interstate 80 near Hunter Hill rest area around 3:10 a.m.
Authorities say a Missouri woman and her 11-year-old daughter were killed in an accident in southeast Nebraska.
