She was declared deceased at the scene of the crash. Police are still investigating the identity of the woman and why she was standing in the roadway; check back for updates.

San Diego, CAA pedestrian suffered a head injury Monday morning when he was struck by a car in Barrio Logan, San Diego police said.
The man was rushing to catch a bus when the accident happened just before 6 a.m. at South 30th and Main streets, police said. The pedestrian was taken to a hospital for his injuries.
The driver who hit the man stopped, police said.
Traffic on Main was snarled in both directions during the accident investigation.
