Willie Xavier Davis, 17, of Carrollton was ejected from the car and pronounced dead at the scene, according to Alabama state troopers. He wasn't wearing a seat belt.
His passenger, Deonte Taylor, 16, of Aliceville wasn't wearing a seat belt and was also ejected. Taylor was airlifted to DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa for treatment.
