A pedestrian who died after he was struck by several vehicles on Saturday evening at the 273 mile marker of Interstate 65 has been identified.

The Jefferson County Coroner has identified the victim as Justin Shwayne Bice, 36, of Sumiton. Alabama State Troopers are continuing their investigation of the Saturday night incident.
A pedestrian was killed after he was struck by several vehicles near the 273 mile marker of Interstate 65. He was later identified as 36-year-old Justin Shwayne Bice of Sumiton. Interstate 65 was closed from mile marker 273 to the Mount Olive exit after the incident while police investigated. No additional details have been released.
