Passenger killed after vehicle overturns on I-65 in Chilton County
According to ALEA, Lauren Elizabeth Shirah, 20, was killed when the 2006 Pontiac G6, in which she was a passenger in, left the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned. Shirah, who was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, was ejected from the vehicle and later pronounced dead at the UAB hospital, according to ALEA.
