The grandfather of Alabama linebacker Reggie Ragland was killed Tuesday afternoon in a car crash in Lauderdale County. Rayfield Ragland Sr. died of injuries he sustained in the crash, which occurred around 2 p.m. on Lauderdale County Road 2, about three miles west of Florence, WAFF 48 reported. Details of the crash had not yet been released, but Ragland's family and friends confirmed his death on social media. Ragland was also the father of former Clemson basketball player and Lauderdale County Sports Hall of Fame member Rayfield Ragland Jr.
