ALDOT employee killed in crash on I-65
Senior Trooper Johnathan Appling said in an emailed statement that two cars crashed on I-65 north of Priceville Thursday morning before colliding with a parked ALDOT vehicle. Appling says two employees were outside the vehicle and were also struck.

Officials with the Alabama Department of Transportation say one of their employees was killed due to a wreck on Interstate 65. The employee is identified as 35-year-old Jacob Smith.
