Four Killed In Mobile County Accident

State Troopers are investigating a wreck that killed four people in Mobile County Sunday night. State Troopers have said little so far about what happened. Witnesses say it happened along Highway 45 around Chunchula-Georgetown road.

Sheriff: 4 people killed in vehicle crash in south Alabama

Mobile County sheriff's officials tell WALA-TV (http://bit.ly/1K46tgH) that the wreck happened Sunday night in Chunchula, in the northern part of the county. Mobile County sheriff's Lt. Paul Burch tells Al.com that the crash involved one vehicle, and that all the victims were adults.

Family calls for action after four die on "Dead Man's Curve"

Family of four victims in a traffic accident are calling for action to fix what they call "Dead Man's Curve," a bend in Chunchula Georgetown Road two miles west of US 45. Lewis says she has lived in the area over four decades, and has watched dozens of cars leave the road on "Dead Man's Curve". "It may be our family right now but the next time it could be somebody else's family." Meanwhile, family of the four victims are hoping something can be done so no one else has to endure a tragedy. Now Lewis and Weatherspoon are calling for action.

3 adults and teen killed in Mobile County crash identified

The driver, Michael W. Weatherspoon, 50, of Chunchula, along with three passengers were pronounced dead at the scene. The passengers were Crystal Dawn Cassity, 38, of Chunchula; Teresa Sowell, 14, of Mobile; and Melvin Louis Sowell, 41, of Chunchula.
