Two-vehicle crash Saturday in Conecuh County kills Castleberry woman, troopers say
A two-vehicle crash Saturday in Conecuh County claimed the life of a Castleberry woman and injured a man, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
Around 9 p.m. Ann Marie Brown, 45, from Castleberry, died when the 1997 Harley Davidson motorcycle she was a passenger on crashed with a 2013 Volvo tractor trailer on Interstate 65,17 miles southwest of Evergreen. Ann Brown was pronounced deceased at the crash site. The driver of the motorcycle, William Robert Brown, 48, was taken to a local hospital; his current condition is unknown. The driver of the tractor trailer, Archie Washington Taber, of Georgia, sustained no injuries.
