Loxley man dies in two-vehicle crash

A two-vehicle crash at 5:44 a.m. this morning claimed the life of a Loxley man. The crash occurred on U.S. 31 at the 44.2 mile marker, approximately one mile north of Atmore. Brooks, who was not using a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene. Randell Luther Brooks, 45, was killed when the 2002 Ford Escape he was driving collided with a 1995 GMC Sierra driven by Wesley Garland Erickson, 35, of Atmore. Erickson was transported to Atmore Community Hospital for medical treatment.
