Hit and run death still a mystery; family wants answers

Hit and run death still a mystery; family wants answers Posted: Updated: The family of a hit and run victim wants answers after their loved one, Teresa Bowick, was killed in an accident on I-165 Friday night. Jessica McLeod says she’s not angry, she just wants to know what happened. Jessica McLeod says Bowick was her older sister and was her biggest role model. They know a Good Samaritan was at the scene because investigators found a tow strap at the scene. "She was always there for us all,” she said. “I could not have asked for anybody better to be my sister."

MPD Looking For Good Samaritan Involved in Deadly Accident

While the Good Samaritan may face charges of fleeing the scene of an accident, police say at this point they are simply trying to figure out what happened. We reached out to the family and they told us they told us police asked them not to comment further. But again, if you were traveling near the 165 off ramp at Bay Bridge Road Friday night, and remember seeing an accident, you’re urged to call police.
