Women killed in two-vehicle crash; neither wore seat belt

MOBILE, Ala. (AP) - Authorities say Mobile County two women have been killed in a two-vehicle crash. Jones and Feagin were passengers in a mid-sized crossover SUV that was struck by a truck driven by 60-year-old James Holland Mitchell. The crash occurred around 11:30 a.m. west of Mobile. Alabama State Trooper Jamie L. Maloy tells local news media that 67-year-old Muriel Crawford and 72-year-old Georgia Johnson Feagin both were not wearing their seatbelts before the fatal crash Saturday morning. Mitchell was injured and taken to a local hospital for treatment.
