Cat thrown from moving car on I-10 on her way to recovery

According to Dr. Chris Rehm with Rehm Animal Clinic, a good Samaritan saw a cat being thrown from the car driving in front of her.

As soon as she saw what happened, she stopped and retrieved the cat and took it to the Rehm Animal Clinic on Tillman’s Corner.

Rehm said that the cat seems to be doing fairly well considering the traumatic situation.

“I’m very pleased with the progress the cat has made,” Dr. Rehm said. “If the cat had been 10 or 15 pounds heavier, she wouldn’t have made it.”

Rehm said that the cat suffered from head trauma but was lucky she wasn’t hit by another car while on the road.
