A single-vehicle crash on Friday has claimed the life of an Orrville teen and injured an infant child.

Troopers tell WSFA-TV that Jamira Barley died when the 2003 Toyota Corolla she was driving left the road and struck several trees around 6 p.m. The wreck happened on Dallas County Road 29, about five miles north of Orrville.
Barley was killed when the vehicle she was driving left the road and struck several trees. She was taken to a hospital in Selma where she was pronounced dead. Reports say she was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident. An eleven-month-old child was a passenger in the vehicle at the time, and is currently in treatment at a children's hospital in Birmingham for injuries.
