A Fairbanks man who was allegedly driving recklessly was critically injured early this morning after crashing his truck near Chena Pump Road.
James R. Stacy was driving on Chena Pump Road at about 1:30 a.m., and was reported swerving and weaving in and off the road. His pickup truck went down a steep embankment and into a ditch, and he sustained serious injuries. He was taken to a local hospital where he later died. The accident is still under investigation.
