Witnesses said that the car was speeding on Grand Avenue when it drove into the median before jetting onto an access road at 71st Avenue, Breeden said.

Raymond Barraza Jr., 24, of Glendale, was identified as the driver who died in a single-vehicle rollover crash at Grand and 71st avenues in Glendale at around 1:00 a.m. Tuesday. Barraza was driving a sedan at a high rate of speed. The sedan went airborne into a rocky embankment and rolled multiple times before ejecting the driver. Barraza was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
