Man arrested in Goodyear hit-and-run of teen 'panicked and left'
Police said Alejandro S. Barragan was arrested on suspicion of leaving the scene of a “serious physical injury collision” for his role in the wreck that occurred near Elliott Road and Estrella Parkway early Saturday morning. Police dispatch operators received a tip Monday evening about a black Silverado that matched the description of the vehicle involved in the wreck, and officers found an SUV with heavy front-end damage near Bullard Avenue and Broadway Road, said Lisa Kutis, a Goodyear police spokeswoman.
