Peoria police identify Sun City woman as victim of fatal crash
A preliminary investigation shows that the car was traveling north on 83rd Avenue and its driver turned left onto westbound Beardsley Road when it was struck by the pickup, traveling south on 83rd Avenue. Police said the driver of the car may have failed to yield to a red traffic signal. However, they added that driver impairment does not appear to be involved.
