Four people were injured when a fire engine collided with two vehicles in Phoenix on Sunday, Dec. 6. (Source: KPHO/KTVK) The Phoenix Fire Department reported four people were hospitalized when a fire engine collided with two vehicles Sunday evening. Firefighters reminded drivers to move to the right when emergency vehicles are running lights and sirens. The crash was reported before 7:30 p.m. and occurred at 1001 N. 43rd Avenue, just north of West Roosevelt Street. According to crews at the scene, three of the injured were minors and the fourth was an adult. "We carry 500 gallons of water plus tons of equipment in these vehicles and they're very, very hard to stop," Fire Fire Capt.
