Driver strikes, kills 61-year-old pedestrian crossing Phoenix street
Vernon Crawford was crossing the road just before 10 p.m. on Friday when a 32-year-old driver in a 2010 Kia Forte struck him, police spokesman Sgt. Tommy Thompson said.
