Helicopter crash in Wikieup kills 2

According to a media release, at approximately 12:20 a.m., Mohave County Sheriff's Office was contacted by Yavapai Sheriff's Office for report of an overdue flight that was bound from Riverside, California and scheduled to land in Prescott.

 

Two people dead following helicopter crash in Mohave County near Alamo Lake

The FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) and the NTSB (National Transportation Safety Board) were notified and will continue the investigation to determine the cause of the crash.

Police release believed identities of helicopter crash victims

Authorities said the two deceased victims onboard the helicopter are believed to be David Scott Cormey, 55, of Prescott Valley and Timothy Shawn Brown, 52, of Glendale.

Wrongful death suit filed over 2016 Arizona helicopter crash

According to the lawsuit, the helicopter's main rotor blades contacted the airframe "resulting in a sudden and immediate catastrophic in-flight breakup in the middle of the desert."
