State police identified the driver killed as Brian Tat Pieri, 51, of Alicia. It was the 33rd fatality along Arkansas roads reported this year, according to preliminary Arkansas State Police records. An Arkansas man was killed in an accident on U.S. 67 just outside of Hoxie after he crossed the centerline and collided with an oncoming tractor-trailer Wednesday morning, according to a police report. Police reported that the roads were clear and the weather dry at the time of the crash. Wednesday as Pieri was heading north along U.S. 67, police said.
