State police also reported that a Bluff City man was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Clark County on Thursday night.
Bill Walker, 83, was traveling southbound on Arkansas 53 in a 1997 Ford when his vehicle collided with a trailer being pulled by a Freightliner that was turning north onto the highway at 11 p.m. Thursday south of Gurdon. Walker was pronounced deceased at the crash scene. The driver of the Freightliner, James Giles, 39, of Waynesboro, Mississippi, sustained no injuries in the crash.
