Two people die following crash at I-5
California Highway Patrol reported that just before 9 this morning, over 20 vehicles were involved in a collision southbound of I-5, just north of Highway 99.

Photographs of the scene show a semi-trailer cut in half, an SUV crashed into the back of a trailer and at least two other damaged passenger vehicles that came to a halt in the median.

The California Highway Patrol says 35-year-old Altagracia Gutierrez and 50-year-old Miguel Irigoyen were killed in the crash Saturday morning.
Both people were from Manteca, south of Stockton.
