Man Critically Injured During Street Racing Crash in Boyle Heights

Two men were injured during a street racing crash in Boyle Heights early Saturday morning, police said. Authorities responded to a multi-vehicle crash around 2:20 a.m. in the 400 block of Lorena Street and found two vehicles. Police said there was enough evidence and witnesses at the scene to indicate the Mustang and Nissan were racing at the time of the crash. The victim was transported to a hospital in critical condition, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Another male driver was also transported to a hospital.
