Driver Sought in Fatal Boyle Heights Hit-And-Run Crash

A man was killed in Boyle Heights early Monday morning by a hit-and-run driver, authorities said. The crash happened at Cesar E. Chavez Avenue and Soto Street just after midnight. "There is mostly likely damaged to the front left side of this vehicle," said LAPD Detective Feliz Padilla. The victim, a pedestrian, was dragged more than 100 feet into a driveway behind a bar and later died at a hospital, police said. Investigators were working to determine the make of the vehicle and other details.
