In an attempt to elude officers, the stolen vehicle driver ran a red light and slammed into another vehicle at Washington Boulevard and La Cienega Boulevard. The driver of the second car died at the scene, according to the Culver City Police Department.

Officers tried to stop a vehicle with no license plates but the driver tried to get away, accelerating through the intersection against a red light, then colliding with another vehicle, police said. The suspect's vehicle was later found to be stolen.

The driver, a 17-year-old girl, went through a red light and struck a black BMW carrying the father and son, said Lt. Troy Dunlap with the Culver City Police Department. The man died at the scene, Dunlap said.
