2 KILLED IN FIERY HOLLYWOOD CRASH INVOLVING METRO MAINTENANCE VEHICLE
A silver Chevrolet Camaro allegedly broadsided a Metro van near Hollywood Boulevard and N. Gower Street at about 2 a.m., authorities said. The van erupted in flames following the collision and the on-duty male custodian, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Camaro, a man in his late 20s, was transported to a local hospital in critical condition where he later died.

Toy was also a deacon at New Mount Zion Baptist Church in South Los Angeles, friends said. He was the father of several adult children.
