Six Car Crash Shuts Down Lanes on the 405 Freeway

The California Highway Patrol set up flares directing cars to the Skirball Center Drive exit at 3 a.m. The Southern California division of the CHP issued a tweet at 3:10 a.m. stating that the two right lanes were reopened on the northbound 405. As of 4:30 a.m., crews were still cleaning up and tow trucks were working to move the remaining vehicles. 
A six-vehicle collision on the north 405 Freeway at the 101 connector freeway has sent at least three people to the hospital in critical condition in Sherman Oaks, a neighborhood in Los Angeles, California. The accident occured around 2:00 a.m. on Monday, October 27, 2014. One person was ejected from a vehicle. The highway is closed pending investigations.
