Darrell Murphy, 58, killed after sedan is run over by semi-truck driven by Ricky Barnes, 40, on Plummer street in Los Angeles, CA

Darrell Murphy was killed in a traffic collision with a heavy tractor trailer driven by Ricky Barnes in North Hills at about about 6:10 a.m. at Haskell Avenue and Plummer Street. Barnes was headed south on Haskell when his truck hit a Ford Taurus that was westbound on Plummer. Murphy was pronounced dead at the scene.   What’s different about a truck accident?
